My work is an attempt to capture raw humanity. Through my images, I accentuate the uniqueness within the individuals who move past my lens. I look past the face-value messages we receive as we walk along the street, instead, viewing the individual’s emotional story.

Eugenia – Critique 2
My work is merely a collection of humanity, capturing each unique individual as they move past me like catching fireflies in a jar. I look past the face-value messages that we receive from photography and capture the individual, their story, and their emotion all in a single frame.
The juxtaposition between architecture and portraiture within my body of work forces the observer to draw connections between the two and push past their immediate interpretations of the images.
